Banana Bread is a regular at my home. Both my son and husband love it. Thatβs why I keep trying different versions of Banana Bread. Sometimes I add cocoa powder, sometimes choco chips, sometimes walnut or sometimes itβs just plain.
This time I baked it using spelt flour. I also added pumpkin seeds, choco chips and coconut chips. It came out nice and soft. Hubby and little one finished half of it within an hour. They loved it so much that I have baked it 3-4 times since then.
For those who are not familiar with Spelt flour, here is a brief introduction. Spelt is an ancient grain, very similar to wheat. It has a lighter texture and is a healthy substitute for all purpose flour.
